Oslo Freedom Forum

The Oslo Freedom Forum is an annual international human rights conference. The forum, run by the Human Rights Foundation (HRF), is held annually in Norway, Taiwan, U.S., and Mexico. The forum hosts rights campaigners, dissidents, philanthropists and tech entrepreneurs from around the world. As HRF’s Head of Video, I led the production of event content creation and capture at the Oslo Freedom Forum.

Video

Oslo Freedom Forum content capture included producing, coordinating logistics, directing crew, and conducting video interviews with main stage conference speakers for future promotional and editorial use. I also created intro videos for the flagship conference which provided context before a speaker’s main stage talk. On the right is a context video I produced, shot, and edited which played before Nury Turkel’s stage talk.

Podcast

In addition to video capture, I was also responsible for all audio capture at the Oslo Freedom Forum. Various panels were recorded for the Human Rights Foundation’s very first podcast channel that I helped launch. I was responsible for episode edits, release on social platforms, promotion, and the art direction for podcast artwork. Spotify & Apple
